In order to celebrate that fact, the last 21-23rd August was arranged a big italo party in Gilleleje in the CFE’s summer house with some of the Danish members of the website and an international member who was just me and that will be my own story of that weekend...
It was the first time I visited Denmark. I flight with Cimber Airlines, a Danish company, from Barcelona to Copenhagen and there CFE (called “Chris from Copenhagen” in my IDN shows) was waiting for me. I thought maybe would be not easy to know him cause I only saw him in photos...but really it was so easy to see him between all the people in the airport cause he isn’t the typical scandinavian person! He is blonde and tall.
Then he went to Hilleröd (yes, i remember) in order to get DJ Laeske (an expert in Lento Violento style) and Brian from Disckjockeyz (that couldn’t drink his coffee because in the Fiat was not enough space because of the bags and DJ stuff and I was ought to make my first illegal act in Denmark: throw away his coffee from the car!!).
Then we arrived to the Gilleleje house: small and very nice at the same time close to the beach. After going to the Supermarket to get some food and water (was strange cause in Denmark you can’t find beers in anyplace), some other people arrived: Mike Prezira, DJ Nml, Calle (that word means “street” in Spanish) and McWaust (also called Miguel or Micha), Thomas from ItalianRockaz and Alessio (in the night he converts to Gollum). Then in the Friday night there also came two other person: Mario, the singer of Italian Rockaz, and he’s friend Charlie, both half italians so it was possible to speak a little with him in SpanoItaliano language.
The weekend was a non-stop music party. I think the Italodance sound was played by different DJ’s during about 30 hours which means about 500 songs...it was like an Italo orgy. But apart of eating music, we also ate food like pizzas (we all recommend in special the “ciao ciao pizza” because you never will forget it’s taste) and a barbecued meat. Because of the last one, we all enjoyed the funny games with the “polse”...just look at the photos.
We also did other activities like playing games like Uno and some others that cannot remember the name, swimming in the sea (only for Scandinavian people cause the water was so cold for a Mediterranean guy), enjoying the good sunny weather and having a funny striptease from Brian cause it was cheaper...Also Alessio gave us an explicit striptease in the beach.
That weekend was like a mix of partying and relaxing so I think everybody enjoyed it. It was a good way to disconnect from the day-by-day life.
After leaving Gilleleje, some people went to Hilleröd to take a look around and visit the castle (the most beautiful one in Denmark as CFE said) and then was time for the difficult goodbye...but it was not a goodbye, it was just a “see you soon”. ;)
Before coming back to my country, I had half day to visit Copenhagen. I went to the center of the city at the commercial streets and then I visited the great Tivoli. I enjoyed so much that wonderful place. You have to be there for understand it...
Some of my poetic and no poetic conclusions of that weekend are the following ones:
“Once upon a time a guy called Jordi went to a country called Denmark...and went he came back to his country he was craziest than ever”
“In Denmark water is like beer as beer is like water”
“IDP means really Independent Drunken People”
“Calle seemed as he didn’t sleep in one month....but anyway I could sleep as well” (we were room partners).
“I’m not the only Iphone user that suffers from it’s low battery capacity”
“If we would take the CFE boat we would need 4 hours go and 4 hours back to go to Sweden and get Seb into the party...”
“In Denmark Carlsberg and Tuborg are everywhere. I really think the real kings of that country are the owners of these companys”
Anyway, I recognize I enjoyed so much cause it was a friendly and party weekend...and I like so much that kind of weekends! ;)
Now its just time to wait for the second IDP Party!
